I am Rakib Hasan Chowdhury, ACS, a finance and corporate compliance professional with 12+ years of experience in financial reporting, taxation, VAT compliance, budgeting, internal audit, management reporting, and company secretarial practice. I currently serve in a USA-based multinational company, where I contribute to financial management, regulatory compliance, statutory documentation, and business process improvement.

My professional background combines practical accounting expertise with corporate governance and secretarial knowledge. My responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing Tax and VAT submissions, monitoring budgets, analyzing financial performance, coordinating intercompany reporting, and supporting statutory filings and corporate meetings.

I hold an MBA in Finance from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), graduating with a CGPA of 3.88 and securing second position on the merit list. I am a qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) and an Income Tax Practitioner certified by the National Board of Revenue (NBR), Bangladesh. I am also a member of the Dhaka Taxes Bar Association.

I am committed to strengthening financial controls, ensuring regulatory compliance, improving operational efficiency, and supporting informed management decisions through accurate financial information and effective corporate governance.

I am Priashis Basak, a finance and accounting professional with more than 15 years of full-time experience in accounts, finance, corporate affairs, internal audit, VAT and taxation across private companies, social enterprises and national NGOs.

My regular work covers financial reporting, preparing and filing tax and VAT returns, monthly withholding (TDS and VDS) deductions and deposits, documents for tax and VAT hearings and assessments, budgeting and budget monitoring, internal controls, and coordinating external audits. I have also prepared donor project reports and worked on NGOAB, donor and consolidated audits.

I completed the Knowledge Level of the Chartered Accountancy (CA) course at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) and served my CA (CC) articleship at J R Chowdhury & Co., Chartered Accountants. I passed the Income Tax Practitioner (ITP) examination in 2025. I hold a Master of Business Studies (Accounting) from National University.
